Wigan Warriors centre George Carmont has signed a new one-year contract with the club with the option to extend the deal until the end of the 2011 season.
Carmont, who joined Wigan from NRL side Newcastle Knights in November 2007, has impressed in his two Super League seasons, scoring 31 tries in 63 appearances.
And chairman Ian Lenagan says he is "delighted" to have secured the signature of the experienced Samoan.

The Wigan centre George Carmont has ended speculation over his future by signing a new one-year contract, with an option for 2011 dependent on him playing a minimum, unspecified number of games.

Wigan coach Brian Noble quit the Super League club after his side slipped to a 14-10 play-off semi-final defeat to St Helens at Knowsley Road.
Noble, whose contract at the DW Stadium expires at the end of this season, will leave immediately after crunch talks with Wigan chairman Ian Lenagan.

Wigan survived a late fightback from Castleford to book their place in the Super League preliminary semi-finals, where they will face Hull KR.
Brian Noble's side led 12-0 at the break following first-half tries from Harrison Hansen and George Carmont, both of which Pat Richards converted.
And Amas Roberts's try seemed to have given Wigan an unassailable 18-0 lead.
